One of India's three legendary Baglamukhi Siddha Peethas — a place of Tantric power,
divine grace, and ancient mysticism on the banks of the holy Lakhundar River.
Located in Nalkheda town of Agar-Malwa district, this ancient Siddha Peetha sits on the banks of the sacred Lakhundar River. It is one of only three principal Baglamukhi shrines in all of India — the others being in Datia (MP) and Kangra (HP).
The temple's central idol is uniquely a triad — Maa Baglamukhi in the center flanked by Maa Lakshmi and Maa Saraswati — representing the complete trinity of Shakti.

Maa Baglamukhi is Pitambara Devi — Her colour is yellow. Wearing yellow clothes is considered highly auspicious and respectful. Carry a yellow cloth or dupatta minimum.
Hawan Kunds are limited (75 total) and fill up fast during Navratri and festivals. Book your Kund slot online at mabaglamukhi.com at least a week in advance and bring your ID proof.
Nalkheda is a small town. Carry enough cash from Ujjain or Indore. Nearest SBI/Union Bank ATMs are in the main market but may run dry during heavy festivals.
Multiple unofficial websites claim to offer puja bookings. Always use mabaglamukhi.com (official Samiti site) or physically visit the temple office. Fraud activity has been reported online.
Oct–March is ideal weather. Navratri (April/October) is the most spiritual time but extremely crowded. Avoid peak summer. Baglamukhi Jayanti (May/June) is also very significant.
Remove footwear at the gate. Avoid dark or revealing clothes. Do not carry non-veg food inside temple premises. Photography may be restricted near the main garbhagriha — always ask.
